Research into Church Growth

The Centre for Church Growth Research (CCGR) team are actively contributing to a range of church growth research areas. Current and future research areas are listed below:

Current Research Areas

• Church Growth Theology Project, a CCGR-led project which included a major conference in September 2013.
• Church Growth Research Project, a Church of England funded project on church growth.
• New Churches in the North East, a William Leech Research Fellowship funded project on new churches in the North East of England.
• Uncovering London’s Hidden Churches, a research programme investigating whether geo-enriched Twitter data can be used to identify previously undocumented churches in London.
